Had several problems with efluence coming out of our attic in 2012 and running down the inside wall. There were also small animal droppings outside on the porch in the same area. Had been using Quality Control since 2010 when we first built our log house. Contacted them and were told it was bats and they were protected and would have o wait until the fall to eradicate the bats. Quality Control tech installed a one way plastic tube and left. Never went in the attic, never checked to confirm it was actually bats. Same problem in 2013 and again in 2014 and 2015. In 2015 their tech determined it was not bats but flying squirrels. Each time a different tech was sent, they seem to have a high turnover rate. In the spring of 2016 I personally cleaned up the mess and called the owner Gary Long, who came out instructed me on what to clean and how to seal up the inside damage in the attic. Their tech caught (caged) several squirrels live and dead. This summer the squirrels actually ate through the drywall and entered the cabin. Gary Long promised to return and inspect the attic. He never returned, sent a rodent specialist who only confirmed the problem, flying squirrels; which we already knew two years earlier. Nothing has been done, will not answer calls keeps sending statements and already charged and paid almost $2000.00 for a problem I still have which this pest control company will not deal with. At one point earlier this year the owner Mr. Long all of a sudden said my roof was to steep to check for points of entry. DON NOT DEAL WITH QUALITY CONTROL INC OF BOONE, NC. Am going to forward theis same information to Better Business Bureau, North Carolina Pest Control Assoc, Exterra, NCPCA, Termidor, National Pest Management Assoc, all our neighbors, associates, friends etc, etc. I will do what is provided me legally be law to exploit this company for who they really are.
