General Info

I offer psychotherapy for individuals, couples and families and enjoy working with many age groups from children to college students and the elderly as well as with extended and multigenerational families. My office is in downtown Boone and I also provide in-home counseling for those who are home bound and for family sessions when appropriate. My approach to therapy is Experiential which honors the present moment and allows us to engage with each other as a means of improving our relationships with others. I also provide Intermodal Expressive Arts Therapy to give voice when words are not enough. The arts provide a means to connect more deeply with our feelings and can put us in touch with parts of ourselves that are normally unavailable to consciousness. This is particularly helpful when working with children as well as for anyone who has difficulty accessing their feelings. I provide Regression Therapy which allows us to go into our past and change our perspective which frees us to be more available in the present.
