Ben Matlock does not even come close to Scott Casey. he disposed of a D.U.I case for me. I watched him preform in court at least 15 times. I waited over a year to dospose of my case because when it's been in the system so long the D.A and judge often just want to get it out of the system after so long. Anyway i plead not guilty. I will admit I prob was guilty. After a 2 hour trial I almost received a not guilty. the judge had to call recess a few times so that he could compare my case to other cases in NC. I got out with the manditory minimums. No probation, 100 dollar fine and 24 hous community service, but the thing that I liked most was that he made the super dumb campus cop that gauged my speed by counting. He humiliated him so much that even the judge laughed at him. if you need a lawyer Scott is your man he will fight to the end for you. And as for the bad review above, you idiot, the reason he didnt come to court is prob because you have to actually pay him. good luck

i needed scott casey a while back.i was faceing 40 years in prison and i got probation.he is a great lawyer.anybody who needes a lawyer should call him

I absolutey do NOT reccommed scott casey to ANYONE. My best friend who was represented by him was called and failed in court on two separate occasions. This is something that is on her record forever because of him. If she is ever arrested again, when she goes to the magistrates office it will show that she was called and failed and therefore a flight risk which will result in a higher bond. He is not responsible and does not do what is in his clients best interst. Do NOT hire Scott Casey!

When I found myself needing a criminal attorney, I asked our family lawyer for a recommendation. He strongly suggested Scott Casey. I asked other friends (some of whom are lawyers) and Mr. Casey's name was brought up by almost everyone I asked for recommendations from.I am now among those recommending Scott and his associates! He did an excellent job for me and I would not hesitate to retain him again should it ever become neccesary!One of the most impressive things I found about him was unrelated to his legal skills, but rather his compassion for some little children whose mother was in court for a shoplifting charge. It was not Scotts case, just the one ahead of us while we were waiting for our trial to begin. When the judge was lecturing the mother and imposing sentence, Scott gathered the 2 kids in a corner of the courtroom and kept them distracted so as for them not to hear the judges criticisms of their mother. This is a good man!
