April has been doing my hair off and on for 21 years. I recently went from a short natural hairstyle to a relaxed buzz cut. April gave me my first relaxer after being natural for 2 years. She gave me color but only color that was safe (a rinse) to use after a relaxer After having issues/breakage in the years prior I came back to her to do my hair. After speaking to April about my health conditions She recommended that I have my thyroid checked. April has exclusive training and knowledge in how most hair issues are related to the inner condition of the body esp women who are in childbearing years and/or approaching perimenopause/menopause. After having extensive blood work done it was found that I have an auto immune condition that affects my thyroid. She referred a specialist and I am on the road to recovery and my short hair is looking fabulous.

I recently relocated to Illinois & had been searching for a stylist. After speaking with April on the phone I was comfortable with her styling my hair. I told her what I was looking for & no questions asked she did it. I got a Pravana Keratin Treatment that left my hair silky, soft & healthy. I also told April about my horrible experiences with eyebrow waxing & she got me all the way together. I will definitely be back to Alice II’s Salon. - Candice Rodriguez
