The James H Hendrix Elementary School provides education that follows the International Baccalaureate program. The school has more than 900 students in grades kindergarten through five. The school is a part of the Spartanburg School District 2. Its curriculum includes mathematics, science, English and German. It also offers special education classes to students with learning disabilities. The school organizes extracurricular activities, such as musicals, art shows, science and book fairs, student council and ecology club. The various amenities offered to students include a gymnasium, a cafeteria, computer laboratories, a library and a media center. The James H Hendrix Elementary School was established in 1969, and is located in Boiling Springs, S.C.
