I'm disappointed in how a local this business treats their customers. I'm moved to speaking out about it..... I was trying to be kind to the business owner of Ann's Nails in Boiling Springs but now I will NEVER go back there again and I recommend you all NEVER do business with them based on their lack of professionalism. Last week I treated myself to a spa pedicure. Had not had one in along time. Mind you, I have nice feet and I make sure they always look good and are cared for, but I thought it would be a relaxing treat. The girl who did my pedicure cut both of my feet. Not a small cut, big cuts on the sides. I felt the pain right away but said nothing. I didn't complain. I'm not a complainer. I tipped her $6 which was 20% even though she didn't do a great job. Went home looking at the positive, that i got to relax despite the fact my feet were hurting where they were cut. I figured that the pain would stop by the next day. Well no actually it hurt worse. I had to put bandaids on my feet and daily I've been caring for the cuts. It's a full week later and they still hurt and the cuts haven't fully healed. So I mentioned to my mom, "Wow my feet hurt so bad where the girl cut them when I went to Ann's Nails on Boiling Springs Rd Hwy 9". She had a nail appointment her self that day and said she was disappointed in the poor job they did on her nails the last time she went. She hoped this time it would be better. When she went she mentioned to the owner what had happened to me. The owner said she wanted to see the cuts, for me to come in. Now mind you I hate doing that kind of thing and I'm super busy but my mom said I would be helping them because the owner doesn't want this kind of thing to happen to other people. That made sense to me and I thought, okay I'll go to help the owner out even though I hadn't planned on saying anything. So I took the time although being busy and stopped to show Ann, the owner my feet. I tried to do it in a discreet way because there were other customers there and if I were the owner I would have appreciated someone being kind by discreetly talking about this situation. The owner looked at my feet and said "No that's not from us, you just have cracked feet". I said, "No I don't. This is on the side of my foot. I have no cracks any where on my feet. These are cuts." She said "No, you just have bad feet. They are cracked." What?!?! I couldn't believe the way she handled that! I wasn't looking for a refund or a redo. You can't uncut feet. I stopped because the owner said she wanted to see it. If you don't want to see the mistakes made at your salon don't say you want to see them! I thought I was being kind and helping her business but when you treat a kind quite loyal customer who has NEVER complained and this wasn't even an attempt to complain people should know about it. And your quite costumer isn't staying quite now. Im in shock that she treats reasonable customers this way. It was so unprofessional!!! This has moved me to now write this and I hope ones pass on that Ann's Nail is extremely unprofessional and they may cut your feet up. They don't do quality work. The owner is rude and needs to learn better costumer service skills.
