The Muvico isn't really "The Only Show In Town", but it *is* the "Place to go" if you're young and want to go to the movies to hang out with friends on the weekend. It's a better experience than your "regular theater" IMO. They have a great selection of food, a number of theaters running most of the popular releases (allowing for more frequent start times than most chains) the seats are large and comfortable and the sound systems are great.



The Premiere experience upstairs (higher priced, but well worth it) is GREAT.



All this said, the place is massive and holds a lot of people, so the parking is crazy, and if there are any problems (ie the computers going down, as was mentioned in another review) the problem is multiplied.



I personally prefer the Sunrise Theaters at Mizner Park (a bit to the East and S on Federal) for a more personal experience and easier parking, but the kids love the Muvico and I do like the Premiere for the occasional "date night" with my wife.

I guess since this theater is the "only show in town" unless you go out west, they can get away with poor service, dirty theaters, and over selling movies. The staff, usually a bunch of snotty teenagers, are pretty rude and unhelpful. It is a shame because the place is big and nice. I think that the UPPER management needs to take a look at what is going on over there, but then again they are making a mint because they are the only show in town, that part of town anyway.

Muvico Boca is great any time but weekend nights, the parking is awful. The theater is clean, seating is spaceous, and the food is good too.
