In January, my daughter presented me with a puppy. I had no experience training a puppy. I started with one trainer who used the clicker/treat method. I kept losing the clicker, didn't always have a treat when needed. Both the dog and I were getting frustrated.
Through a conversation at the vet's office, I learned of Bark Busters and the very positive results that a client had had with a large unruly dog.
Susan from the Boca BB arrived and improvement was immediate. She has trained me (which is as important as the dog) and my dog.
She was a pleasure to work with and both my dog and I looked forward to training sessions.
I must emphasize that it takes reaffirming what Susan demonstrates to have success.

My wife and I adopted a German Shepherd from the local shelter. He had been found running along State Road 27 in Broward County. Having learned to fend for himself out on the streets, he was not used to being managed. Susan, from the local Bark Busters, was referred to us by our veterninarian. Susan trained me and my family in the gentle but highly effective Bark Busters training methods. If consistently followed by all the family members, the techniques work. Additionally, it was obvious to my wife and I that Susan is not only highly effective at training dogs and their owners but truly cares about the dogs she is training. Had it not been for Susan, it is quite possible we might have had to return our dog to the Shelter.
