Blue Bell Elementary, a part of Wissahickon School District, offers educational and extracurricular programs for children from grades kindergarten through five. Blue Bell has a fully equipped library. The school s library offers fiction and nonfiction books, periodicals, CD-ROMs, videos and reference materials, such as almanacs, encyclopedias and atlases. It provides access to materials outside the library through inter-library loan. Blue Bell s multimedia center has PC laptop computers, projectors, and smart board and digital cameras. Its curriculum includes mathematics, English, science, foreign languages, history, geography, economics, music and arts and crafts. The school s extracurricular activities include knowledge bowl, junior-senior banquet, state fine arts and academic competitions and band and choir concerts. Blue Bell Elementary offers a number of sports, such as girl s and boy s basketball, cheerleading, baseball, tennis, badminton, swimming, soccer and softball.
