- Brow LiftAlso referred to as pretrichial brow lift, this approach is ideal for patients who have higher hairlines. Incisions are made just above the hairline, allowing the surgeon to remove excess skin and raise the forehead and browline to a more youthful appearance.
- Eyelid SurgeryBruising and swelling may be present following eyelid surgery, but this will gradually subside and patients will notice that the appearance of their eyes will continue to improve for up to one year.
- Plastic SurgeryWhat is an oculoplastic surgeon? This specialty combines the knowledge and precision of an eye surgeon with the finesse and artistry of plastic surgery. The extensive training and highly specialized skill of our oculoplastic surgeons allows them to perform complex eyelid and facial plastic surgery, as well as injectable treatments, with exceptional attention to detail and function while also delivering beautiful and natural-looking results.
- Face LiftFor some patients, a more thoroughly rejuvenated look can be achieved by combining browplasty with upper or lower blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery) or a mid-face lift.
- BlepharoplastyThe CO2 laser is used to treat fine lines and wrinkles of the periocular and facial skin. It improves the texture of the skin by stimulating collagen production and gives the skin a more youthful and rejuvenated look. The treatment is performed under IV sedation in an operating room to minimize any discomfort. The laser treatment is often performed in conjunction with upper and lower eyelid blepharoplasty. While this procedure may be most commonly performed to treat the effects of aging, it can be performed on patients of any age who are looking to restore their skin to a smooth, clear complexion free of blemishes and other imperfections.
- Laser ResurfacingWe realize that you have choices when it comes to cosmetic procedures, but we also know that your vision is precious. Oculoplastic surgeons are doctors with specialized training in both the function and aesthetics of the eye area; our experts are uniquely qualified to perform eye surgery and provide non-surgical treatments such as BOTOX®, dermal fillers, and laser resurfacing. Oculoplastic surgeons who are members of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS) must prove a high standard of skill and pass stringent exams in order to qualify for this specialty.

In addition to pain, a corneal ulcer may cause decreased vision, eye redness, light sensitivity, swelling of the eyelids, or the sensation that there is something in the eye. This condition can progress to threaten vision and should be treated promptly by an ophthalmologist.
- FungusCorneal infections are often the result of injuries to the cornea such as scratches that allow bacteria or fungus to enter the cornea. Contact lens wearers are at higher risk of corneal infections. In most cases, corneal infections can be treated with antibacterial or antifungal eye drops or oral medications. This is normally a treatable condition, but severe corneal infections can threaten the eyesight and eye health and may require surgical treatment or a corneal transplant.

Even years after the dermatologic issues caused by SJS are alleviated, patients may still require treatment by an ophthalmologist.

Removing this outer layer of dead skin cells leaves a smoother texture and promotes the growth of healthy new skin cells.
