In addition, Dr. Rizzo currently serves as a Partner of Foot and Ankle Specialists. Dr. Rizzo is also Co-Founder and Chairman of the American Orthoplastic Microsurgical Society (AMOS). This surgical society is responsible for national and international collaboration and development in the field of limb reconstructive surgery. Dr. Rizzo is also the Founder and Director of the Cincinnati Lower Extremity Reconstructive Institute which collaborates with local, regional and national medical professionals to advance limb salvage and reconstruction. Dr. Rizzo currently serves as Research Director of the TriHealth Foot and Ankle Surgical Residency. Dr Rizzo is active in his local Professional Podiatric Academy, serving as past President and current treasurer and secretary. Dr. Rizzo is very active with the podiatric surgical residency community, serving as surgical attending for podiatric surgical residents within the Mercy Hospital system and the TriHealth Hospital System. Dr. Rizzo has been actively involved in the national and international lecturing circuit for his surgical development and research. Additionally, Dr. Rizzo has long been involved with research and development of orthopedic devices and hardware.
