Great stop, come here every year and is a favorite place to shop. Lots of unique items and the owner is super friendly.

Really great shop! I've been here several times and have enjoyed every visit. They have new stuff and old stuff and just lots of stuff. As a shop owner and parent myself, I understand that other parents think their kids are perfect, not so, especially little ones. You need to keep your kids supervised at ALL times and respect the shop owner's concerns. It's our livelihood, and it's not asking too much for parents to act like parents. Hominy Mill Mercantile has been in business for a long while and they are a great addition to the area. Please visit when you can and support the local economy!

WE WENT TO THIS STORE AND HAD MY 2 SIX YEAR OLD NIECES, WHO ARE SOME OF THE BEST BEHAVED CHILDREN YOU HAVE EVER BEEN AROUND. THEY WERE KNEELING ON THE FLOOR PETTING THE STUFFED ANIMALS, NOT PICKING THEM UP, NOT MOVING THEM, NOTHING BUT PETTING AND BEING PERFECTLY QUIET. THE OWNER CAME OVER AND TOLD THEM THEY MIGHT GET STICKIES OR CRUMBLIES ON HER BABYS. THEY WERE BOTH DRESSED UP, PERFECTLY CLEAN. WE LEFT. THE STORE SMELLED LIKE CAT SPRAY WHEN YOU WALKED IN, THERE WERE AT LEAST 2 CATS GOING IN AND OUT AND ONE OF THEM FOLLOWED UP OUT AND SPRAYED RIGHT NEXT TO MY VAN. WE WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN.
