Lahser High School is an educational center that serves more than 1,100 students in grades 9 through 12. It offers classes in math, science, English, social studies, physical education, music, computer applications, engineering, language and visual arts, and foreign languages, such as Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Latin and Spanish. The school additionally provides special classes in word processing, marketing, accounting, business laws and Web design. It operates a counseling department that offers information on scholarship opportunities, graduation requirements and career planning. The school organizes several parent-teacher conferences that encourage parental involvement in their children s education.
