The source of your drinking water is groundwater supplied by wells located near our community. The wells are completed in a Sand & Gravel Aquifer located adjacent to the White River. To help protect this aquifer from potential sources of contamination, Eastern Heights Utilities is implementing a Wellhead Protection Plan, which was approved by the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) in November of 2001. As your water utility, we work diligently to provide top quality water to every tap. We ask that all our customers help us protect our groundwater resource, which is the heart of our community, our way of life and our children's future.
