My husband a I have been going here for years. We never had a bad meal. We loves their burgers. My husband also loves their fish sandwich. The cole slaw is wonderful. The onion bread they serve is delish. The service is not bad. Depends who you get, but we will always come back.
OK, so my wife read the other two reviews here on Yellowpages.com and was worried when our friends asked us to come eat with them at Beau Jacks in Bloomfield Hills. The place was very busy which we thought was a sign that could go either way.
It was really good. Sometimes only the bad stuff gets posted while good people remain quiet so I thought I would post some Praise for a restaurant that deserves it!
I had me a great burger w/ Peedmont Beef...not sure how to spell it but it tasted good and had lower fat which will make my doc pretty happy.
My wife had a good sized salad with a honey mustard dressing that she said should be bottled up and sold.
Our friend had himself some chicken that looked good and by his account was execellent.
Everything was brought at the right time. Dinner was not too pricey for Bloomfield. Really not too pricey for Southfield either... but don't go raising the prices either.
To be fair, the only problem was parking. The lot was small and very full - like I said it was busy especially the bar- so it took a minute to park my boat in a space that it would fit in. When I came out it was hard to back out. But it was worth it. We will come back and I hope you will give it a chance too!
