PDS Engineering Construction, Inc. was established in September 1965 under the name Pre-Designed Structures, as a construction steel supplier and general construction company. Its founder Guy Jodice, an earlier adopter of technology, saw the opportunity to serve its industrial and commercial customers by offering construction solutions through the developing pre-engineered building products market.&PDS Engineering & Construction, Inc. is now in its second generation with direct family management involvement. Following the company roots of an engineering company performing complex construction projects, the company is now owned by Ronald E. Jodice (BS Chem. E), William L. Jodice (BS CE), Frank C. Borawski (BS CE, P.E., L.S.), Timothy E. Mulcahy (BA BA) and David A. Lucibello (BS AE, LEED AP).While PDS still captures a high percentage of its early core market in pre-engineered buildings, over time it has branched out to all types of traditional construction in order to provide its customers the most appropriate facility for their needs.PDS growth can be attributed in large part to its reputation as a financially strong construction firm that delivers a quality project to the client through a vast network of subcontractors, suppliers and employees.
