The River Street Autism Program includes a range of support services for autistic children between the ages of 3 and 10. The program emphasizes one-on-one instruction and uses discrete trial teaching methods. It includes training services for families to encourage active participation in their child's program. The program focuses on the development of speech, language and social skills. The River Street Autism Program features behavioral intervention services and conducts monthly workshops. The program also includes individual consultation and shadow support services. It enrolls more than 45 children. The River Street Autism Program is a part of the Capitol Region Education Council.
