General Info: Dr. Valerie Wise has been in practice for over 30 years, serving the West North Carolina region. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree, cum laude in Pre-Medicine from the University of Dayton. She then received her Doctor of Optometry Degree from the University of Missouri/St. Louis Optometry School in 1990. In 1991, Dr. Wise completed a residency at the O’Donnell Eye Institute in St. Louis, MO. She trained in the management of ocular diseases and pre & post-op surgical care, with an emphasis in the fitting of specialty contact lenses. Dr. Wise is currently an active member of the North Carolina Optometric Society, Mountain District and Piedmont District Optometric Societies, and the American Optometric Association.
