Local color abounds amongst southwestern motif... The only non-smoking, clean, higher-end restaurant/bar in Black Mountain with outdoor seating and local music (on occasion). Food is unbeatable in the $6-$9 price point - and there are numerous stars on the menu, like the fish tacos or the black mountain burger. Service is commensurate with most local establishments - which means you should get some character with your meal!Suggest this is worth a try or two...

Disappointing/underwhelming food & service although friendly folks with nifty signage & motifs. Recently launched format (Holidays '07), needs fine tuning to meet basic expectations...noisey bar gets ample attention, while diners wait for small portions of average food. May deserve second chance as they find their groove...locals are optimistic & want the variety...chips & salsa (with beverages) upon seating would make waiting for dinner much more forgiveable.
