Located in Black Diamond, Wash., Black Diamond Elementary School is an educational institution that provides a variety of educational and recreational options for the social, intellectual, physical and emotional development of students in kindergarten through grade five. It has a library and media center that houses a variety of storybooks, quiz books, biographies, picture dictionaries, encyclopedias and puzzles. The school offers various extracurricular activities, including music, art, class plays, science fairs and field trips. The school s academic curriculum includes language arts, mathematics, science, social studies and physical education. The school has a parent-teacher association that provides additional funds for the educational and extracurricular operations of the school. It also offers transportation and meal services.
