Leishear, Kimberlee, DO
General Info
Dr. Leishear received her medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She then completed a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation from University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Dr. Leishear is board-certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and a member of the American Osteopathic Association. Dr. Kimberlee Leishear has always had a love of science and a curiosity for how things work. Her passion for medicine grew out of the ability to build relationships and connect with people while helping to make a difference in their lives. Her approach truly aligns with what drove me to be an osteopath, as well as a physiatrist, which is to use a holistic, multidisciplinary approach to improve a patient’s quality of life using the least invasive treatment as possible

Dr Lu and Dr Leisheer were both wonderful patient providers
My experience with Kimberlee Leishear, and the whole team at the Pelvic Rehabilitation Medicine Clinic has been amazing. I can say with confidence that with their help I have regain many aspects of my life that were affected by the CPPS.
I felt heard and valued. Doctor Leishear was very knowledgeable and kind
Am grateful to find a level of relief after years of none and feel in time, will continue.
Dr. Leishear was very patient and took the time to outline her care plan for me. She was very caring and understanding of my needs and concerns.
se is helpful, professional, thorough and attentive
I have been suffering with pelvic floor dysfunction for 13 years and have seen more than 10 doctors and 5 pelvic floor physical therapists during that time. My symptoms flared again in June and my PT mentioned that a new clinic recently opened in Birmingham. I called and made an appointment for an evaluation at Pelvic Rehabilitation Medicine with Dr. Leishear. My experience with the initial evaluation was nothing short of stunning! She spent at least an hour with me and it was obvious that she spent the time to review all my medical history including testing done (MRIs, CTs, X-rays) and treatments (including an InterStim implant). She suggested a 4 part treatment plan to include a series of 6 weekly injections, an Rx for Lyrica & compounded suppositories, and a return to pelvic floor PT. I wrestled with the decision to have the injections, mostly because of the cost, but ultimately decided that my health was worth the money. Six months later, I feel 80% improved!
Dr. Leishear let me know that I have TONS of options for pain management that I never knew about. Most doctors want to treat endometriosis by surgery (which I've had two of and they weren't really helpful), while Dr. Leishear wants to look long-term into treatment.
Dr. Lesishear was so helpful and available whenever I needed her.
All of my concerns and questions were heard and taken into consideration, I felt I was treated with great care. The whole team is lovely and very good at what they do.
Dr. Leishear provided first class service. She listened to my symptoms and was quick to diagnose the issue. My discomfort has decreased dramatically and expect that my pelvic pain will go away for good.
The doctor is an amazing listener in order to diagnose and clearly communicate findings and plan of care. Plus she is an amazing person. Compassionate and beyond smart
I had been under so much distress and confusion, but Dr. Leishear listened amazingly and was extremely willing to explain everything in as much detail as I needed to feel comfortable. I finally feel like I have a plan
Dr. Leishear goes above and beyond for her patients. The staff were also patient and very helpful.
It was great to find an alternative to pelvic pain management other than over the counter medicine. I use to have to take 4 advil every two hours to suffer through the day. This ended up destroying my stomach lining to the point where I can no longer take advil or motrin. This has proven to be a helpful alternative
I was hesitant and at first just did pelvic PT. Then I went through the six week injections with additional PT and now I feel perfect and can do jumping jacks and sneeze without leaking.
Very supportive of my fears and concerns, gently guided me through the process. Felt very comfortable in discussions and procedures.
was an awesome experience
This provider has been helpful and I am experiencing improvements in my pelvic pain. The injections have been helping as well as the medications.
Went above and beyond to provide me with the care that I needed. I have appreciated her expertise, and tackling the problem from a different perspective
