I was having mild back pains starting 6 days ago and today they had become extreme. I called my normal doctor but he could not see me until Wednesday at 4:00. My wife recommended I visit Family Medicine since they are located close to my job in Riverchase. I called first to make sure they could address my issue. The person who answered was pleasant. I arrived, completed the chart, answered a few questions and was called in for weighing and assigned to a room. The doctor's asst came in within 5 minutes, explained who she was, reviewed my chart, and asked me some quesitons and then explained that someone would come for xrays. The xray rep was prompt, nice, and partient with me as my lower back was very sore. Once back to my room, I sent a few text messages and the dr came in to "lecture" me on what was happending with my back . I certainly appreciate the laymen's version and his pleasant persona. Two shots and 3 meds and I'm feeling much better. Arrived around 11:20, signed out around 12:40. Got my meds filled on site and was back at work shortly after 1. I recommend using them if needed.
