HAVEN is one of the nationally recognized nonprofit leaders that provides comprehensive solutions and innovative programs to promote violence-free homes and communities. The organization serves in Pontiac, Southfield, Farmington Hills, Bloomfield Hills and Royal Oak counties in Michigan. It offers a variety of services for children, adults and families who suffer from domestic violence and sexual assault. The organization provides direct intervention services for individuals. Haven offers more than 20 groups for survivors and batterers. In addition, the organization provides counseling programs and 24-hour crisis and support line services. It also supports a program for batterers that includes screenings and assessments for abuse in interpersonal relationships. HAVEN supports advocacy, volunteer, supervised parenting time, and community education and prevention programs.
