Provided by YP.comDon't waste your time going there. I was staying in a hotel not even 2 minutes from this Hooters. I called them on New Years Eve night @ about 9:48 to place a pick up order. I asked the employee what time they closed and she told me 10 p.m. A friend of mine was with me @ the time and we just decided to go there in person to place our orders. I told the employee that and she said okay so we jumped in the car and made our way there. When we got out of the car and went to open the door, the doors were locked. We stood there for a second to see if anyone would see us and maybe come to the door considering I told the employee how close I was and that I was coming right over. No one came to the door so I called them again. The same employee answered the phone and I asked why were the doors locked @ 9:50 when they close for 10 p.m.? She said that her manager told her to lock the doors and that they were closed.
Now I've worked in the food service industry and I know that the customer is always right. And that even when customers show up @ 5 minutes to close that we were to serve them. I totally understand that it is New Years Eve and everyone wants to get out of there and head to their parties, etc. And I would absolutely feel the same if I were in they're shoes. So I can understand that and that's not why I'm aggravated. I feel this way because I was literally 1 minute away when I showed up and had an expectation of being able to place my order for a Cesar Salad. That's all I was ordering by the way. When she told me what her manager told her to do, I explained that I just called and told her I was just about next door to the restaurant etc. to no avail. So I hung up and got even more upset with the situation. I called right back and asked to speak to her manager. His tone albeit was not apologetic but he did admit telling her to lock the doors. I said my peace and still was not satisfied with the end results.
