Pre-Surgery: I was interested in having the bags removed from under my eyes (blepharoplasty), and after doing my research on various doctors, I decided to make an appointment with Dr. Franklin Richards. During the initial consultation, Dr. Richards answered all of my questions and concerns, and he made me feel very comfortable with having the procedure performed by him. I left his office knowing the pros and cons of blepharoplasty and I felt confident that Dr. Richards would do a fantastic job. Post-Surgery: I truly believe that no other doctor could have performed better. My surgery went as well as I expected, and my down time was about a week, just as Dr. Richards said that it would be. I have gained my confidence back, and I look and feel great. Job well done!!

I had breast augmentation surgery with Dr Richards in June 2011. He was very professional throughout te experience and helped me decide on a size shape and saline or silicone without pushing me in any direction. The recovery was so much easier than I had heard from other people who had had implant surgery!! I was biking two weeks out and running after three weeks. Now 6weeka later I am getting ready for a triathalon. The only complaint was the surgery date was changed a few times on me which complicated out scheduling. However after I commented they made a note and dis not change the date again.

Dr. Richards was simply wonderful. I am a young mother/wife of two small children and I felt lost in the world around me. With the support of my husband and a close friend (who is also a patient) I decided to seek Dr. Richards help to get my breast back to normal. Not only did he understand, but he was also very willing to help! I was recently diagnosed with a bleeding disorder called von willebrand disease and Dr. Richards worked with my hematologist to make my dreams come true. He took extra care of me and he understood my fears. I am now almost 3 weeks post op with little to no bruising and I feel amazing. I am now in love with my body and I recently was asked to pursue modeling! Who would have thought? Thank you Dr. Richards, for giving me something that words can't describe!

After spending months researching practically every doctor in the washington dc area and viewing numerous pre/post op photos of breast augmentations online, I knew without a doubt Dr. Richards would do the best job. I highly recommend taking a look at the photo galleries on Dr. Richard's website. His credentials were also very impressive and made me feel comfortable enough to trust him with my surgery. I had gone to another doctor before for a consultation and felt nervous, but with Dr. Richards I was completely at ease. He really focused on what goal I wanted to achieve with my body. The surgery went better than I could have ever expected, most likely due to Dr. Richard's new technique for reducing pain/recovery time. I went in for surgery on Thursday and went back to work on Tuesday. My friends and family that have seen the results are beyond impressed and want to know who I went to!!! I highly recommend him to anyone interested in plastic surgery!!!! Amazing results.

I would highly recommend Dr Richards for cosmetic surgery. I met with 2 other doctors and chose him because of his professional reputation, the suggestions he made and because he made me feel very comfortable about the process. He patiently explained the procedures and answered all my questions. I also really appreciated the fact that he called after the surgery to "check on me".
