Western Oaks Middle School is a coeducational school that provides educational and enrichment programs to students in grades six through eight. It has a library media center that provides fiction database for more than 125,000 titles, full text magazine articles, encyclopedias, dictionaries, photos, maps and flags. The school has a parent-teacher association that sponsors various educational and social programs for the overall development of the school. It provides various athletic activities that include basketball, football, wrestling, softball, volleyball, and track and field. The school offers educational classes in English, math, science, social studies, special education, technology education, foreign language and vocal music. Western Oaks Middle School is governed by the Putnam City Schools and is located in Bethany, Okla.
