Quadrex manufactures gas chromatography capillary columns for environmental and petrochemical applications. Its products include fused silica columns, stainless steel columns, gas generator systems, portable GCs, ferrules, fittings, injector liners, carrier gas traps, septa and syringes. Its products are distributed through a network of independent distributors located throughout the world. Quadrex was founded in 1976 by Professor S.R. Lipsky, then the head of the Department of Physical Sciences at Yale University. The company has headquarters in New Haven, Conn.
