I'm a retired postal service associate (window clerk). It sad that every time I walk into the Bessemer Post office I get a very nasty reaction from one clerk in particular (I believe her name is Janet). I've never done a single thing to her but each time I walk into that office I end up talking to someone in management. For instance just today I walked in looking for hold mail cards and there was a total of two available. Since I'm retired I travel a lot with my brothers and sisters. I asked if I could have at least ten. Instead of an answer she walked away from the front counter so I waited (thinking she was going to get additional hold cards) the next thing I know management come to me asking how many I needed. I asked for as many as she could spare and explained they aren't all for me. I accepted what she gave me but the truth is management never needed to involved. All that was required was a courteous clerk. I mean no harm to anyone but I don't have to accept rudeness either. My letter carrier is the best but your clerk will loose you business and that's a fact 💯

We have lived in the area for almost 8 years and still have trouble receiving packages. This happens during regular times of the year, not during the holiday. Good luck with packages being delivered via USPS
If you live in the area of this Post Office YOU ARE IN TROUBLE.! You might get your mail. This is the worst place I have ever lived as far as the Post Office. I see why people no longer trust the US Postal service. I did not feel that way until I moved here.
