A most disappointing experience. Service was cold and aloof, particularly the greeter/seater. Chips and salsa both tasted "odd", and not in a good sense of the word. At any other Mexican restaurant, I can usually make a meal out of the chips and salsa, but not at Habaneros. My "enchilada" was pulverized beef in a tamale shell covered with brown onion gravy. Yuk. My Spanish rice and refried beans were both totally tasteless. My wife's meal (chile rellenos) had the same goofy meat filling as my enchilada, which she described as "bizarre", and not very enjoyable. We ate there at 2:00 pm on a Saturday afternoon, and the restaurant was mostly empty. I can see why. It was our first experience with Habaneros, and our last.
