South Adams Elementary School, located in Berne, Ind., offers a comprehensive curriculum for students in grades kindergarten through three. It is governed by the South Adams Schools and has an enrollment of more than 450 students. The school offers a variety of subjects offered include English, language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, music, arts, crafts, computer technology, and health and physical education. In addition, the school has a chess club and also organizes book and young authors fair and theater works convocation. South Adams Elementary School also provides a library and media center that offers accelerated reader with more than 3,000 titles.
