I opened two booths at Uptown this year because it's one of the nicest antique malls that I've ever been in. I agree, I wish it were opened a bit later, too. But it's a great shop with a nice variety of old and new items priced very reasonable! I've been to other stores where some dealers must think they have pure gold at the prices they ask. I know because I'm also a collector. I hope people in the area will give our shop a visit, I'm sure you'll find many cute things for your home.

Such a nice new store! But the customer service is so bad that I hope the dealers have online stores because the lady behind the counter was so rude that I will never buy anything fr this location. Very unfortunate, I will be sure to tell anyone who will listen how awful this woman is. If you own the ace, sell it. If you are an employee, you need to be fired.

Uptown is not your regular antique store where you find the same old Fire-King stacked on the shelf. I love finding one-of-a-kind items, handmade soaps, Christmas trinkets, a lovely throw rug, and great seashells and artwork! To answer those who were sad, yes the store closes promptly at 5. I was sad about that, too, but life doesn't center on that. Arrive before 4 to wander around, you'll find that something special like we did!

Don't want to give it any stars. Only one customer in the store when we arrived - Friday after Xmas. Lady behind the counter mentioned twice that all stores close at 5 in Berlin. I was getting ready to buy something at 4:45. She announced that she was closing in 5 min. She was rude and argued that it was time to close so we left! The other two stores that were open in Berlin had very helpful shopkeeps. Will return to Berlin but not Uptown Antiques.

My husband and I are huge Berlin fans and love to support local business. During our first time there, he found an item he loved, but was pricey and he didn't want to spend the money at the time. I decided to surprise him with it for Christmas. I finally worked out a time that I could make it from Salisbury to Berlin without him being around to suspect that I was buying him a gift. Time was tight and I pulled up right before 5, which Uptown Antiques says it is open until. I got there and the door was locked. The woman at the register looked up at me then looked away. I knocked, figuring she would want the business and would help if she heard my story. Thoroughly annoyed, she came to the door and told me it was 5. I showed her my phone which read 4:54. She stated they were closed and walked away. I was in disbelief. Plus it was Small Business Saturday and the town was busy. Apparently they did not need or want my business, which is good because they lost it.

Uptown Antiques is a wonderful new antique shop in Berlin. It is quite an asset to the community and it has a huge variety of items for every shopper. I have a wonderful experience every time I visit the shop, which is quite often. All of the employees there are very friendly and helpful and a pleasure to deal with. This store offers new merchandise and unique finds more frequently than any other antique dealer I have dealt with. Uptown antiques is a must stop in to shop!

My favorite town with wonderful and friendly people. This store recently opened. It is the sister shop to Town Center Antiques. I always have a wonderful experience and find nice things. Recently my experience has been quite unpleasant due to a new employee. Asked if any dealers were having sales, and she answers you as if annoyed. Cheap when wrapping old expensive glass ware. Spare the one piece of tissue paper.When asked for another she tossed it at me very annoyed and in a dismissive manner. What makes it worse, she goes back and fourth to each store. I had her three times in 2 day's. Not one of those times was she pleasant or professional. If they want the store to survive the winter, a smile and a little courtesy goes a long way.
