Peace of Mind seeks to create and welcome awareness surrounding mental and emotional health; help individuals understand the importance of caring for our mental and emotional well-being. Tending to our mental wellness is a strength that makes us more patient parents, supportive partners, satisfied employees, and overall more loving human beings. Peace of Mind is both preventative and restorative. We offer stress management classes as well as individual, couples, and family counseling. Both help to decrease stress, anxiety, depression and other disruptive situations; improve whole body functioning. Lauren combines Westernized, evidence based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy and trauma training with alternative and creative methods to help address concerns related to mental and emotional health. Stress management classes aim to help people recognize signals while gaining education and strategies to manage and reduce current stressors. Counseling offers a more in-depth analysis of past trauma and current problems.
