Operational since 2003, STE Consultants offers applied behavior analysis services for individuals with disabilities. The organization works in association with schools and parents to provide consulting and behavior intervention programs. It also conducts training workshops and classes for parents. STE Consultants writes and implements functional behavior assessments and behavior plans. In addition, the organization trains teachers in the area of direct instruction and utilizes research-based educational and behavioral methodologies. It facilitates and coordinates social skills groups for clients in school settings. STE Consultants offers special education programs for students with autism spectrum disorders. Its clients include the Alameda Unified School District, Albany Unified School District, Castro Valley Unified School District and Hayward Unified School District. The organization is a member of the California Association for Behavior Analysis.
