Himalayan Flavors, great location, easy accessible from freeway to university avenue and has a great free parking lot which is really good specially in Berkeley, where I always find hard time to park and enjoy dinner. I went there twice but every time Immediately I was greeted, seated, served Papad and Dal soup in about two minutes.Five stars for delicious butter mushroom chicken and Bhutanese Datshi , I really enjoyed the uniqueness of Datshi which I had never tasted before but Butter Chicken is my favorite and here the best with the combination of Mushroom with butter chicken, really YUMMY, The garlic naan is the best I've ever had, They have an extensive menu covering the whole Himalayan Regions to wide variety of veg, non veg to vegan , has lots of choices.Prices are GREAT for the high quality of food and good ambiance.

Recently I visited Himalayan Flavors Restaurant which is not like other Indian or Himalayan restaurant, their Menus are really authentic and covers the culinary journey of whole Himalayan Regions, extending from Tibet to India, Nepal, Bhutan and all the regions that comes within Himalayan Regions, the foods are really great and typical regional cuisine I have ever experience. I have visited three times so far and tried different Menus, every time I tried the food from different region and really felt the uniqueness and true and really flavorful dishes, It's been my best place to enjoy Himalayan Foods.
