Jefferson Elementary School, a part of Bergenfield Public Schools, is located in Bergenfield, N.J. The school enrolls students in kindergarten through grade five. It offers courses in English, math, science, social studies, language arts, music and physical education. It also provides Gifted and Talented in the Visual Arts (GTVA), accelerated learning, reading enrichment, and before- and after-school programs. Jefferson Elementary School has a parent s association that organizes and promotes parents participation in the school s events and programs. Additionally, the school maintains Students Making Appropriate Responses Thoughtfully (SMART) club. Bergenfield Public Schools operates various elementary, middle and high schools that serve students in kindergarten through grade 12.
