Flat rates, zero extra charges, no hidden fees – what more could I ask for?
I’ve called literally every locksmith in Bergenfield, NJ and I know the general prices that are asked. What costs me 50 bucks during the day would cost me a 100 after business hours. But not with Bergenfield Locksmith Store!!!
Their non-fluctuating prices caught me by surprise! Working odd-shifts, the only time I ever got to give my locks & keys their periodic tune-up or the occasional upgrade was after regular hours. After locking myself out of my home, I was left helpless standing on the porch. My neighbors were away, and I had no habit of stowing away keys under vases. The worst part was that it was now half past ten and I knew that the chances of finding help were next to none. Nevertheless, I found myself turning to the one place I always turned to when I needed answers – the internet. The first couple of listings were useless.. some didn’t answer, a few lines I couldn’t get through. Thankfully, I found this site that claimed to offer-hour service just like all the others did and decided to give it a try. Surprisingly, my call was answered within three rings, and within the next 30 minutes, I found myself enjoying a steaming cup of coffee.

It wasn’t expected. Only hours earlier I’d put in important files for a presentation in the cabinet for safekeeping and now the key was nowhere to be found. I contemplated breaking the cabinet open, but my colleague advised me against it. I’ll have to pay my companies for the damages and I wasn’t ready for that. I called a couple of locksmiths in Bergenfield, NJ 07621, and was quoted anywhere between $200 and $300 for the job. Based on Company glowing reviews, I decided to call Bergenfield Locksmith Store after an unfortunate incident with my foot and a doorknob (you read that correctly -- it's a long story). Erick is the third locksmith I've dealt with here in Bergenfield, NJ --- and easily the coolest. His price estimates are far lower than the others I've seen. So what's the catch? There wasn't. He was in and out in within 20 minutes. And in the end, he reassured me that the whole-foot-on-the-doorknob thing is more common than one would think.

He was very knowledgeable, giving us an overview on what the existing lock was like, etc. He even recommended a cheaper service that what I initially called him for after looking at our lock. Didn't rush us through or seem hurried, chatted with us throughout the entire install, even recommending a couple of great pizza spots in our neighborhood. It felt great working with someone who was friendly and didn't try to cheap us out of our money!

i needed a deadbolt installed on my door and Jay was very helpful in choosing the right one for me without pressuring me towards the more expensive options. I made an appointment to have it installed that day but a couple hours after the agreed upon time I called to find out what had happened. Dave was extremely apologetic and got to the bottom of the problem right away. Turns out the guy that was supposed to install it had to go to the hospital! Can't be mad at a guy that literally couldn't make it to my apt. Nevertheless Jay told to pick anytime and he would personally install it, plus 50% off to make up for the missed appointment.
