We eat there all the time! Wonderful food and great service! This is our go to restaurant, our family has been going here for almost 30 years!

Beware the food is great but the service is not at all. Sat there for 30 minutes with empty glasses when we got our food the plates were warm and our food was barely warmer than the plate. My daughter's food was hotter than mine and my husband's. Waffle was stone cold when we got it. That's our third time going since January 2015 twice now has been crappy service.

Don't go there! A Patty Melt has grilled onions, not thrown on the grill and taken right off. the waitress, didn't have to mention she was new. I told her patty melt, fries and a side salad, when i asked about the fries she said " i subsututed the salad for it" she said she would bring em to me, i didn't want em, later. The mead smelled old. when she seen I didn't eat it, i told her it wasn't good, she asked if i wanted a to go box.dumb. I was %53 for 3 people, too expensive. My husband ordered a bisquit, they are in a bucked, out by the waitress station. Oh and for all of our sake "WAITRESSES STOP PUTTING YOUR FINGERS IN DIRTY CUPS, CAUSE THEN YOU PICK UP MY CLEAN PLATES TO BRING MY FOOD. I WON'T GO THERE AGAIN.

The Village Inn is a great place to eat. It’s clean, great service, wonderful pies and always great food so it should get a five. That is, as long as you don’t order the chef salad. The lettuce has recently been replaced something that resembles leaves from weeds. Even drown in dressing it is still dull, dry and unappetizing. I’m not sure this salad even rates a one.
