Susan Harrow Rago, MS, RD, LDN is a Licensed Dietitian-Nutritionist (LDN) and has been a Registered Dietitian (RD) for more than 30 years with extensive experience in providing medical nutrition therapy. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Human Nutrition from Michigan State University and a Master of Science in Human Nutrition and Foods from the University of Arizona. She completed the Commission on Dietetic Registration Certificate of Training in Adult Weight Management in 2001. "‹ In the past, she has been an active volunteer with the American Heart Association as well as the American Diabetes Association. She is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, The American Diabetes Association, The Endocrine Society, The Obesity Society, The American Association of Diabetes Educators and is past president of the Southern District New Jersey Dietetic Association. In 1991, she was named Recognized Young Dietitian of the Year by the New Jersey Dietetic Association "‹ Susan’s previous experience includes more than 10 years with the pharmaceutical industry in the diabetes therapy area as well as overseeing nutrition services for two major health insurance companies. She has served as adjunct faculty at Bucks County Community College and Pima Community College. She also has experience in a variety of areas including long-term care, in —patient and out-patient addictions treatment, treatment for severe obesity, and development of patient education materials.
