Let me start by saying, I firmly believe in writing an honest review based upon my experience. I, myself, look to reviews to decide if I am going to use a business or not.

One late afternoon I was in a pinch. My garage door at work got stuck......in the UP position and couldn't leave it like that overnight.

I got referred to Russ Whelan and gave them a call (after hours). Sandy called me back and said she could have a tech there in an hour.

Tech came out, fixed the garage door like he has done this for 25 years (and he has....lol).

Works great.

Tech was very professional and knew his stuff and VERY reasonable pricing.

So thankful to have found them and gave them a shot. Not that I want my garage doors to break, but if they door or I need replaced, Russ Whelan will be my only call and they should be yours too!

Terrible service, the company is not competent enough to repair garage doors or install custom garage doors, called them because our garage door was a bit heavy while opening, then I saw spring just hanging (determined and fixed by another company), the guy came out and said he can't fix it, that if he tighten it the spring might snap (What!?!?!) and that we're better off to get a new door, ok fine let's get a new door install, the sales person came out looked at it and said they can't install a new door, opening is too small ( I thought you guys are garage door experts ) and that we need to have a contractor to make our door opening a bit bigger. Called a contractor and he was ready to hear what this company need them to do, the sales person never returned our email or phone calls. After some time and research, found someone else to install the door for us without having to make any adjustments to our door opening.



Do not use this company for custom door size installs, let along repairs.
