      Located in Bend, Ore., the High Desert Sleep Center at St. Charles provides diagnostic, treatment and follow-up services for sleep-related disorders. Its Bend Sleep Center handles cases related to mental and physical health, depression, reduced concentration, impaired memory and judgment, confusion, sleepwalking and dulled social skills. The High Desert Sleep Center at St. Charles also handles cases related to lower job performance, reduced productivity, decreased ability to resist and fight illness and increased risk of disease, including stroke, heart attack, high blood pressure and diabetes. It is a part of St. Charles Medical Center Bend, which is a health care facility that was established in 1918 and serves more than 240,000 people in over 32,000 square mile area of central and eastern Oregon. St. Charles Medical Center Bend is comprised of nearly 250 physicians and is owned and operated by the Cascade Healthcare Community.
