Riverfront Bend VACATION RENTAL HOME is right on the DESCHUTES RIVER, in the Heart of Downtown Bend's Westside, between the Old Mill District and Drake Park. An easy walk to Columbia Park, Old Town Bend, Drake Park and the Old Mill District. This cozy, peaceful home is conveniently located next to the footbridge crossing the Deschutes River, accessing Columbia Park with picnic tables, open lawn, play areas and small sandy beach with an entrance to float or swim in the Deschutes River. Also, on the same side of the river as us, you will find, Miller's Landing Park. It is a few houses down, offering a large picnic gazebo, fishing dock and additional entry points into the river. You can kayak, paddleboard or use your favorite raft, just about anything goes! *DIRECT RIVER ACCESS FROM HOME* Bend is an artsy resort community in Central Oregon's high desert, approximately 150 miles east of Portland. Bend is easy to get to by air with a local airport (RDM) that is serviced by Alaska, Delta, American and United Airlines. To Oregon, Bend is what Aspen is to Colorado or Lake Tahoe is to California; with a fairly upscale clientele, several nearby resort communities, and a lively, fun, quaint downtown area. Bend has been discovered for its recreation opportunities, climate and small town atmosphere, it has grown rapidly as a retreat for retirees and young people alike.
