      Central Oregon Independent Health Services administers the Oregon Health Plan contract for more than 20,000 medical members in ten Oregon counties, which consists of Crook, Deschutes, Grant, Harney, Hood River, Jefferson, Lake, Sherman, Wasco and Wheeler counties. A local health care system, the company is owned and operated by Central Oregon Independent Practice Association providers in partnership with the Central Oregon Hospital Network. The health care system claims to be the first truly integrated delivery system for central and eastern Oregon. Located in Bend, Ore., Central Oregon Independent Health Services administers the Oregon Health Plan, provides medical management services for worker's compensation insurers, and offers third-party administrative services to contracted organizations.
