Great place to go for a last minute gift and very convenient for quick shopping if you forgot an ingredient or two for your recipe.

You get what you pay for

I always stop by here each week in my shopping rounds to buy a few things because they have such an awesome selection of brands that you don't see in normal grocery stores. Some things are a little pricey, but with that said, its good quality compared to other stores. My husband loves the beer selection!

General Info
Located in the West End of beautiful Bend, Oregon, Newport Avenue Market is known as the food hub of Central Oregon. We offer an eclectic selection of unique, specialty and hard-to-find groceries as well as every day market essentials. Consider us the “Triple G” for all of your shopping needs: Groceries + Gadgets + Gifts. Family-operated and locally owned since 1976, we provide a distinctive shopping experience for our community. You define who we are and because of that, we champion a healthy diet along with a healthy sense of humor. It’s all about good food. We are leading a food movement in Central Oregon that promotes farm-to-table and healthy, natural, delicious food. In fact, we’re all about keeping it local- think locally raised beef (where each and every cut can be traced back to the ranch where it was raised), veggies grown just down the road using aquaponics, and award-winning artisan cheeses. Our global selection from various ethnicities and niches makes experimenting with food fun. Need Lion’s Mane mushrooms? Or Blood Orange Reserve olive oil? Let your foodie imagination run wild down any of our aisles. Coffee-flavored salt? Got it. Sombrerino pasta from Italy in the shape of a Mexican hat? We’ve got you covered. In 2013, Newport Avenue Market was named the first Boar's Head Deli of Distinction west of the Mississippi. Cool, right? It’s a rare title… not easily earned… and it means, quite simply, that our deli is the best of the best. It’s because our crew takes food seriously. They get up early, stay late and sometimes steal grandma’s recipes to create the best experience for our customers. Your discerning taste buds will delight in our selection of grab-and-go lunches, gourmet dinner entrees, side dishes and desserts. What about beer? We’ve got a wicked-good selection of beers not easily found in one spot. Would you expect anything less from Beer Town, USA? Our Great Wall of Beer is stocked with local favorites, cult classics, domestics, and international brews. Plus, our Brew Crew page (www.newportavemarket.com/brew-crew) offers 500+ beers at your fingertips. I need a Jesus bobble head. Stat. Need a gift that is refreshingly unusual? From Jesus bobble heads to Silipints to Luchadore bottle openers to books about hipster dads, Newport Avenue Market is your one-stop shop for all that is weird in the world. We also carry a wide selection of interesting kitchen gadgets and professional-quality cookware (Le Creuset, anyone?). Play with your food (and not get yelled at by Mom) Whether you’re a seasoned gourmand or new to the good food scene, there’s room for everyone at the Newport table. Welcome, foodies. You’ve found your sanctuary. Chop. Sauté. Drizzle. Lick your lips. Be grateful. Stay curious. And above all, enjoy the adventure. Life is short. Eat good food.
