      Dr. Laura Pennavaria received her MD degree from the University of California, San Diego in 2001. She completed a residency in Family Medicine at Kaiser Permanente in Orange County, California, and is Board Certified in Family Medicine, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. She has practiced in a variety of settings, and has spent a significant amount of her career serving in physician executive roles, in addition to maintaining her practice. Dr. Pennavaria's passion has always been serving her patients. She considers it a privilege and honor to have people entrust her with their health and their lives. What she loves most about practicing medicine is the relationships she builds with her patients. This relationship of caring and trust allows her to partner with her patients to reach their health goals. Direct Primary Care is a perfect match for Dr. Pennavaria, as it allows her to take her time with her patients, and serve them in a more personal way. Homestead Family Medicine is a Direct Primary Care practice that specializes in YOU! Dr. Pennavaria loves taking care of patients of all ages, from birth to age 120. She provides a variety of services for her patients: well exams for people of all ages, routine gyn care, pediatrics, chronic disease management, joint injections, skin biopsies, Suboxone management, suturing, housecalls, wholesale medications and labs, and much more, all for one low monthly membership.
