Meehan Elementary School provides special programs in physical education, art and music for students in kindergarten through grade five. The school s academic curriculum includes language arts, math, social studies, English and science. Its library stocks a collection of storybooks, picture dictionaries, puzzles, and fiction and nonfiction books. Meehan Elementary School features a computer lab, cafeteria, playground and classrooms. The school organizes fun fairs, parent-teacher conferences and reading nights. Its parent-teacher organization sponsors several fundraising events, assemblies, field days and family events.
