This place is so yummy great family atmosphere not to loud not to quite great service and wonderful food

Prior coming to Belton from Florida, I was told for the best Kansas City BBQ you have to go to Gates and Arthur Bryant’s. During the last week we tried them both, and I was impressed. The last night of our stay in Belton we tried Oden’s. I love Bar B Q and I sampled it all over this country. Oden’s Family BBQ, by far, is the best BBQ I ever had! I tried the pork ribs and my wife tried the chicken and ribs. We also tried something called “burnt ends.” These were great. The meat was moist and juicy with a taste of oak. The two different BBQ sauces complimented the meat perfectly. And the BBQ beans! I could not leave the place without some BBQ beans to go. The other “popular” BBQ places downtown KC have a lot of history behind them but if you want great BBQ and an extremely fare price – You have to try Oden’s. Like the Terminator said, “I will be back.”

This is the best BBQ joint in town. They have very reasonable prices too. The quality of meat has gone down slightly since the ownership change, but it's still pretty good. The sauce is excellent and the sides are delicious!

Excellent service, great taste, variety, moderately priced, can't beat it!
