I am writing this review for my mother. She had a survey done and discovered that her property pin (in the front yard) was about 5 feet from where the fence was, in her favor. She asked the surveyor who he would recommend, and she took the recommendation, which happened to be his buddy. So, Rock County Fence came out, gave a bid, $2,890 for 40 feet 6-foot wood fence and 220 lineal feet of 5-foot-tall field wire. She paid half, $1,445, up front, before any work was done.

After a couple conversations with the workers on how to navigate the fence around a large tree, they proceeded to build the fence where the old one was. My mother then called the company, and Josh (owner) showed up and proceeded to yell at her, as if it was her fault. She offered to show him the survey, to which he replied, "I know how to read a survey!". After that he offered that she only pays half of the second half (the other $1,445) to leave the fence in the wrong location, as is. She declined this offer. And he never returned her call as he said he would in person.

After trying to get back in touch with Josh to resolve this, he refuses to return her calls.

All I have to say about them is, it's pretty sad when you call and call them and NEVER get a respond back from them and when they do they always have an excuse such "Oh I am sorry I was away from my desk or that I didn't have my phone and such" So after about a a week or two of trying to get things rolling to have my fence installed I finally gave up with these people and went with some one else. I will not recomend this company to anyone unless they want to get ingored. So if you want to be ingored and disrepected call this company to do the job.

Best price with a better job then I could of imagined...will have more work done with rock county fence and deck without thinking twice.

we just had our deck built by the best qualified builders that there could ever be. We are so happy with our deck it is one of the best additions to our house that we could ever have! The team that built our deck were so friendly and they got things done in a timely fashion thanks goes out to josh and his team!

They do the best job ever! Great pricing. They did our huge privacy fence, our deck, and garden picket fence. Absoluetly gorgeous work!! Couldn't of asked for anything better! HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Great guys to work with!!!

This company is the best!Did a wonderfull job on my fence and deck.Will and have refered them to my friends and family!

If you really need to have your deck built on time, don't rely on these guys!
