Pantron Automation is the North American distributor for its German-based parent company Pantron Instruments, a manufacturing company. Pantron Automation also distributes di-soric, SNT, Bircher/Reglomat and EGE Electronik lines of sensors. The company offers automation solutions in the form of applications. Its applications are used in the carwash, lumber, packaging, food processing, pharmaceutical, amusement park, elevator, automatic door and factory automation industries. In 1997, the company began developing a network of representatives and distributors throughout the United States and Canada to supply some of the top Fortune 500 companies. It serves customers throughout North America. Pantron Automation is based in Gastonia, N.C.
