Founded in 1923, Notre Dame High School is located in Belmont, Calif. It is an independent Catholic college preparatory school under the governance of St. Julie Billiart and the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur. The school is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and the Western Catholic Education Association. It offers various honors and advanced placement courses for its students. The school also offers visual and performing arts programs that include multiple courses in art, ceramics, chorus, dance, sculpture, string orchestra, jazz band, symphonic band, video production and digital photography. In addition, Notre Dame High School offers the services of various counselors, including an educational consultant for special needs students focusing on academic planning and counseling and college and personal counseling.
