Paul’s Tavern has been owned and operated by the Heaney family since 1979 when the original bar and property was purchased from Sedan’s. The first of several expansions were done in 1987. In 1992 the outside Beer Garden was replaced with a traditional log cabin to accommodate the thriving Jersey Shore tourism and nightlife. In 1993 the adjacent house and property were purchased. The house was knocked down and the second cabin was built, including a kitchen which continues to serve light bar fare today. Behind this structure a tented Patio Bar was put in place, including spacious seating and flatscreen TVs for outdoor enjoyment.
